The BeamScore System

Every laser engraver gets a BeamScore from 0-100, calculated using six key dimensions that actually matter when you're cutting your first project:

• Software Compatibility (15%) — Software options, workflow efficiency, advanced features

• Ease of Use (10%) — Setup simplicity, daily operation, maintenance

These weights reflect what I've learned matters most: a laser that can't cut cleanly or safely isn't worth any price, while ease of use, though important, can be learned over time.

Price Pulse Tracking

Our Price Pulse system monitors pricing across major retailers and marketplace sellers. When we detect a significant price drop or spot a machine hitting its historical low, we flag it. No more missing flash sales or buying right before a price drop.

The Automation Pipeline

Every 6 hours, our systems spring into action: checking prices, updating availability, recalculating scores when new data comes in, and scanning for new models. This ensures our recommendations stay current in a market where specifications and pricing change frequently.

How We Stay Independent
